Volunteers needed to help us support and facilitate the American Cancer Society’s 24 hour “Relay for Life” event at Chaffey High School. All the funds received from this event will be used to help fight Cancer and bring awareness to the forefront. It’s a joint event and represents hundreds of community people as well, all relaying for the same cause; to end Cancer! We anticipate over 200 people to be walking in this relay, many of whom will be there the entire 24 hours, all in an effort to ‘Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back!’
Volunteers will help us by working the registration table, food booths, setting up and tearing down the event, giving directions, giving out t-shirts, water, and supporting our relay event during our 24 hour event. It’s a wonderful opportunity to work alongside community folks who are also volunteering their time by participating in this worthwhile event. We need your help as well. Our last community service event of the quarter is called Relay For LIFE.
